Singapore

I had to spend one night here and I was too cheap to spend about $300.00 as that's a digital camera today. So I'm at the airport in Singapore which by the way if you don't know Singapore, wow, read on. I go to the help desk to find a hotel that is cheap but nice and the lady has a computer in front of me and says here you go. I ask if it has Internet in the room. She says Yes. Super, off I go in the cab. The cab was cheap. The hotel didn't have Internet in the room as I was promised and that made me angry for the first time this trip. Only in the Mickey Mouse lobby did they have a few computers. The room was for a backpacker type person. 150 square feet. Single bed, but actually the room matched my smart car, so what can I say. Lately I have been spoiled so the joint brought me down to earth.

The plane from Melbourne left at 5:00pm and it was seven hours in the air. I slept a fair bit, so when I got into this room I watched TV and soon fell asleep again. I woke up shortly after 5:00am and had a shower at 6:30am and was downstairs ready to eat at 7:00am. Sorry we don't open until 7:30am. By hotel standards that is really late. Enough of this place, I jumped into a cab and headed to the airport.

So Singapore Airlines is the best airline in the world Bar None. They just got their first Airbus 380 Super Duper Jumbo. They are making everyone know it too. In this Jet, you can have Beyond first Class. Your own suite! Love that! I wonder if you can lock the door?

The Saturday night I went out to have a steak dinner next door to the sex show. Place was full and they told me to go to the bar, and they got a real argument there. Then two older women (my age) showed up and we started chatting. Two moms who knew each other since they were babies. Now married with kids they still love to go out. They invited me to dinner and then we went to a bar next door and we ended up on the dance floor dancing in front of a live band. Crazy night and this is how I love a night to happen. I had to take off on them at 12:30am to meet up with my Sexpo crew after the show. All in all, Melbourne was fun, but this is my second trip to Australia and I hate the Flies. Flies everywhere. Walk down the street and sometimes you are swarmed.

Melbourne

Relaxing in the air...Wow, check out the travel time. Toronto - Vancouver 5 hours, Vancouver - Shanghai 12 hours, Shanghai - Bangkok 4 hours, Bangkok - Melbourne 8 hours. Over 29 hours travel time. Wow. The best flight ever was on this Boeing 777 flight to Melbourne. What great seats with huge TV screens. Even the washroom was bigger. Most disappointment was Air Canada Vancouver - Shanghai. But Air Canada is still excellent over all. Asia airlines are still very good. Singapore Airlines being the world's best.

Bangkok was awesome, the hotel that is. Didn't really see much. No time. My Davis Hotel was the best. Check out the link and watch the video I made of the hotel room. Notice the Unit below!
Its been over 17 years since I've been in Australia. The weather is excellent and I better get my ass outside. I held off sleeping until 2:30am. I got up feeling I was rested and wide awake at 5am. Slept again lightly in this super soft nice bed until 6and the show was over and I through in the Towel. The hotel here is OK, but old and a classic which is not my style. Just too old for me, but at least there is a lot of room and I love that.

So I went to the Sexpo Show today to offer my support to my distributor. She is selling our product the Ultimate Personal Shaver and its a wonderful feeling. She dumped her previous product for ours. Why because she loves the quality.

Well its 3:00pm and I think I will try to have a nap. See what happens.

Australia

We have done it again! Our customers have spoken. We have won the Gold Award for Adult Novelty category from the Toronto Sun and a Bronze for Lingerie. This is quite an honour. Our prime goal in designing a new store is our customers comfort. I think our customers have spoken, combined more with our excellent Sales Associates, its a winning combo.

Things are getting even better at AWN. Well I must say, as I have always thought my previous management team was excellent, and that will never change. However, I think my new management team will bring us much higher. People are being put into place so we can effectively manage better. The expenses are higher, but that's expected, and I believe our sales results will reflect this as well. Its learning, learning and more learning. As my wife says, Learning All The Time. I can't tell you how much I've been rejuvenated in the past two months. People who worked hard for AWN are now promoted, earning more and they are loving it.

Morale has never been better at AWN. We just finished our first Managers meeting and assistants were invited for the first time. They loved it. Our head office is open to all staff to come and visit and see our showroom.

As I write this I'm on the plane to Vancouver. I think I have missed my connection to Shanghai as the plane was really late taking off. The flight attendants here are helpful but the pilots can't give us an answer if we will make the connection. They told me on the ground that we would have to wait until we are in the air for an answer, and still no answer and I'm 4 hours into the flight. I have one night in Shanghai booked, and "one night in Bangkok" booked. Maybe they will redirect me straight to Melbourne, who knows.

Update I made the flight to Shanghai, but my luggage didn't. Gives me a chance to buy a few things.
