Home Sweet Home

Things weren't as routine as I'm used to when I came back. My lovely wife Aida picked me up at the airport and she usually has the Famous Tim Horton's coffee sitting there for me to relish. This time the traffic was too much and she couldn't stop. I was devastated. Kidding aside, it is good to get back.

My family was looking good and just came back from Mexico as well. They just missed category 5 Typhoon as they call it in Asia by two or three days. For humour purposes, I joked and said I was calling down to their resort extend her vacation for another week. With 19 years of marriage, these jokes start to get funny, but never say them during the first 15 years! Actually my wife and I are always laughing. She knows me better than I know myself. Golf and gambling friends welcomed (my wallet) me back with open arms as well.

I must admit I miss Shanghai and Hong Kong. Shanghai is more reasonable cost wise, so so gorgeous at night. Now just getting my sleeping pattern back to normal.

My Kitchen is being renovated now. The house is always under constant renovation, so its a bit of a mess.

Today the boys at the golf club are licking their chops like dogs waiting for me to arrive, so I'll catch you later.

Thanks for reading, because I when I get feedback, its all worth it.

Wenzhou

Hey, I couldn't resist doing another video when I come off the plane. Its so funny.

To be honest, when I they fed us in the plane coming here, it was not bad. A nice peice of cake, a bun, and a box of OJ.

Well I'm back to Shanghai at 3:15pm. Maybe I'll get some great shots of the city while in the air.

More Shanghai

This is a great photo in my opinion as the bike in front of me is just loaded with garbage and here the Chinese are experts in piling things on their bikes and moving around. In the background is a cop giving a ticket to someone on a bike.

My favourite beer! When you order a beer with dinner, they give you a serious beer.
It's time to get out of here. I'm terribly lonely and miss my WIFE and KIDS and English Canada. I have just a few more days and simply trying to hang in there.
What I love to do at night is go down to the BUND (riverside) and watch the skyscrapers do their twinkling; I know it sounds a little gay, but if you were here, you'd do the same. They actually have whole buildings with video on the side. Its simply awesome. Never before have I seen such advertising.
I still think that this city being relatively new is the best looking city in the world at night and this was confirmed last night as I strolled into a bar and the older American lady was dying to talk to someone and picked me. She agreed, at night, there is no city in the world that can compete. Paris by day, Shanghai at night.

I just finished the video of my favourite ride. Hop on the Maglev with me!

This is my hotel, I love it here. New and cheap. Just look at the photos, the top of this building is just amazing with50 spectacular floors.

Shanghai

What can I say about this city of Shanghai. I just can't believe what is going on here. So many buildings and I think they've secretly taken all the good architects from around the world. The designs of some of the buildings are so unique, and this city isn't cheap. Last night I found a bar that was quite nice. I popped in for a beer and then ok, it was two beers. I paid 100RMB, that's about $14.40. I was out of there quickly, but that is what the city is like now. Rich and poor. Some people object to that, but its hard to excape. Here are some photos from the last few days.

Before arriving in Shanghai, I was in the city of Shenzhen which is really close to Hong Kong and you need to take a train which is super easy for about 40 mins, go through customs out of Hong Kong then customs to get inside China, and wow, no big deal, you're in China. This city is really nice in the core at least. My humour came out when I was in the washroom of my supplier. Check this out.

I've been to this hotel three times and didn't know this awesome mall was 5 mins away. What a treat it was, but there is a trick, you have to get by the smelly 25 foot creek. Its a bit ugly....and that's when you realize come on China, smarten up, please. The water here in Shanghai here smells when you shower. It appears good, but I won't even brush my teeth in it, just to be super safe. Anyway, the mall was a Wow.

Lastly here is Lunch at the Shangrila. Its very good, but I let my agent to the ordering. I'm really not that adventurous as my wife is. She'll eat anything. I thought I was good until I met her.

Anyway, thanks for reading. On Friday I travel within China to a factory to see what is new in the world of sex toys, deep in China.

Today I confess: I went to KFC and had two pieces of Chicken. Then to Starbucks for a Frapp.

Amazing Photo!

Well I thought I was a slight perv, I've got work to do, look at this dude. Well the show is over in Japan and I think I have my photo of the show. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Of course she is of AGE!!!

Anyway, now I just left vibrant Hong Kong. What an awesome city. The Subways are spotless and I dream of showing someone Hong Kong whoever wants to come. The negative of Hong Kong is that there isn't a golf courses or grass for that matter. Concrete city, with a massive amount of people.
Now I've taken the train to China and wow its hot here. Seems that way anyway.

The hotel here is so cheap in terms of what you get for the money relative to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong it was small and nice. Here I'm big and nice for less money.

Love China
