Summer is Here!

My golf course opens today. I'm excited. Hope I have a good year. I think I will play more this year. One of my sons says he wants to play more this year as well, and this excites me. He got a hole in one on his first shot ever on a golf course when he was 9 years old. Not bad, perhaps some potential ya think? Last year we played a couple of games and he can hit it long and reached par fives in two. Scary as I've never done that as easy as he did it. So I will have fun watching both of my boys play. The other younger son is fun too, but doesn't have the interest as the older one. But this is my time with them, hope they enjoy it. Time is flying and when they want to play, so I'm there. Of course my dream is to have the younger one beat the older one. In golf, you never know.


I don't really talk about product much here, but have to say our new Cases are a hit in the stores. They are gorgeous. Time to Go Home

Well its time to go home.

Vegas was a little chilly this time. The show was good and I'm dying to get home and see my boys and my staff as well.

A golfers story:

Yesterday I played golf and as we were leaving a par 3 short hole one and one of the guys behind us, who we didn't know, couldn't wait for our carts to leave and hit his ball. We didn't know he hit but heard FOUR! It bounced once and somehow hit me in the forehead - hard. I was ok, but it wasn't until a few minutes later that my head started to bleed a little, which was scary. Now I'm thinking I really didn't feel the impact of the hit as it hit my forehead and maybe its serious. Anyway, the guy felt really bad, said sorry, and I didn't feel any anger or pain and even made some humour out of the situation. The damage was done and besides, I was ok. I'm sure he will never do it again.

So I'm on the next Tee and I hit the best shot of the day, a booming drive down the middle. I immediately went back to the guy that hit me and told him about my drive and asked if he could hit me again before my next shot.

Day One

Hey, Greetings from beautiful Las Vegas!

Yesterday we saw some awesome costumes for Halloween or role playing and better yet with great pricing.

Here are some general photos from cruising around yesterday. I also took a long video of a vendor and then ran out of battery power and my charging cord is at home. Soooo frustrating!!! I wanted a few more photos as I just warmed up the camera! A few male photos would have been appropriate for the female readers, if there are any. Oh well, it is a lot of fun walking around with Aida checking out various vendors.

Last night we were invited to dinner by AVN and went to Emerils at the MGM. Let me tell you, this was really special. One of the dinner options was a sampling of 5 small portions and 5 matching wines selected by the restaurant to go with each. This was recommended by our sales rep who has been to Emerils before. We went for this and didn't regret it. Each portion was served with an explanation and BAM, it was good and so was the company. Thank you AVN!

Tonight is a special dinner with the Sinclair people who make the "Better Sex" video series. This is every year and hosted by a wonderful professional woman named Susan. The invitation this woman sends out is great. A lot of thought goes into it and we actually all gather around in the office to open it up to see what they have come up with. Susan and I both have a lot of mutual respect for each other. Special guest is "Candida Royalle". It should be fun. Tomorrow is a golf game with my good friend Claude, then hopefully Aida and I will see Celine Dion later in the evening.

Its also our 19th Anniversary together....I know, we can't believe it either! What better way to celebrate, than in Vegas!

Las Vegas Lingerie Show

Well I'm still here. I must say I'm really a boring guy here in Vegas. I played my casino game Keno and my luck is running out! I hate losing money gambling. It is such a waste. Often I think about buying a new Driver for my golf habit, but I hesitate, yet the Casino just took that Driver out of my hands. I'm not out of control, but at least and have fun and Keno is fun and fast.

I use this time in Vegas to stay quiet. I spend a lot of time in my room and do absolutely Dick. OK, I play on my computer. Yesterday I defragmented my hard drive. It took 4 hours. I copied the songs from my Ipod to my computer which is a unique process and I bought some cheap software to do that. Usually its the other way around, your computer saves the songs on he Ipod. I wrote some updated objectives for my warehouse new acting manager. I tracked the Canadian Dollar all day which has had a nice rise lately, finally. I have been watching a little fun stock I have called oli.v which as been doing well lately.

When industry people arrive tomorrow night which is Saturday, I will come out of my cocoon and have a few beers with some good friends of the industry.

The last Lingerie show was really good and was filled with all kinds of beautiful women in Sexy Lingerie which is too be expected, but I never really appreciated it until I started writing this blog and actually took some photos. Some things you just take for granted...such a tough life. Which once again makes me appreciate my awesome wife Aida who is simply the most easy going woman on the earth. When my time is up on this earth and I have a chance to start another life somewhere, I need to find her and do it all over again. Later....

Las Vegas Lingerie Show

Here I am finding myself in Las Vegas again.

The weather is perfect during the day at 20 to 25. I have arrived a few days earlier which allows me time to prepare for the show and perhaps golf with a good friend who is in the same business.

I'll update this blog with photos as the show begins. I know its spring when my good friend Alex calls me for a game of golf, same time every spring! God bless him.
